Oven Baked Italian Sausages and Peppers


Ingredients

  • 19oz Italian Sausages
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can Crushed Tomatoes with Basil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • fresh Parsley

Directions

  1. Place onions and sliced peppers in the bottom of a 9"x13" baking dish.
  2. Mix the balsamic vinegar, garlic, oregano, and salt into the crushed tomatoes, then pour over the peppers.
  3. Slice the sausages into about 4-5 pieces each and arrange on top of the mixture
  4. Bake at 400oF for 30-40 minutes, or until sausage is cooked through (160oF)
  5. Remove from over and garnish with Parsley and Red Pepper Flakes
