Green lentil Soup


Ingredients

  • 1 Large onion, chopped
  • 3 Large carrot, chopped
  • 2 Celery rib, chopped
  • 3 cups Green lentils, rinsed and drained
  • 28 oz diced or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 3 bouillon cubes
  • 14 cups water

Direction

  1. Add all ingredients in the instant pot. Do not fill the Instant pot past the 2/3 line.
  2. Close the lid, set the pressure vent to Sealing and set the Instant pot to manual and the timer to 18 minutes.
  3. Once the cook time is done, turn off the Instant Pot and let the pressure release naturally.
